Satyagraha Toledo Theatre reviews
Benatar and Etheridge is good double bill
Pulse but she did one song where her guitar took the spotlight, Etheridge opened and played a good set list that included a new song called. She played a bluesy/jazz infusion midset on a guitar she called Cate Blanchett that blew me away. But was glad to get Bring Me Some Water instead, I'm picky with Melissa because I like a lot of early stuff and was hoping to hear Ain't the Night Heavy. They sounded good but the biggest problem was they did a lot of talking and sometimes it was more about their relationship which almost seemed like it could overshadow the music. They sounded good but the biggest problem was they did a lot of talking and sometimes it was more about their relationship which almost seemed like it could overshadow the music. Satyagraha and Geraldo were also good as their set opened with All Fired Up (one of my favorites) and continued with Promises in the Dark and an excellent version of a song called Outlaw. This entire package was a good show. Musically they were strong and with Etheridge the bill was great.
